I wish this occasion could be just the same

However, the same wasn’t meant to be

But the love and togetherness of this holiday

I feel deep inside of me.

This Thanksgiving Day is a thankful one

And were thankful for all who share

Around this table,

Beyond this house,

And our ...

Life after life

This day was no different from any other day in my life after loosing the one person that meant the world to me. I got up, showered and began my daily trek to my job in traffic that was stop and go for a solid hour and a half every morning. I approached a wreck ahead that was quite extensive and the traffic came to an immediate stop. I put my face down on the steering wheel knowing that I was going be late again but at the same time praying for whom ever was in that wreck ahead. Judging by th...

Lets face the facts this world is amiss

And me as observer is tired of this,

Tired of commercials both Republican and Dem

Downing each other I’m so tired of them.

A leader with no hope of a government as one

But still he’s a tough son of a gun,

He will do his best to fix what is broken

But a...

My story begins with me as an eight-year-old living adjacent to Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas where my Father was an Airman, and my Mother worked at the City Mental Hospital. My next-door neighbor was a kid named Jordan and he was my best friend and to be very honest my only real friend in the Air Force Neighborhood which was mostly Caucasian families. I heard my Mother say to my Father that she thought it was funny we ended up right next to the only oth...

Benny

Benny was a fragile fool that could be easily hurt by the occasional innocent comment by his co- workers, so at the job he was shunned most of the time. Benny also was one of the smartest techs in the whole company. Ameritech Industries was a Robotics Company that made parts for Robots and other Robotic machines. Benny was the head Technician but he also was the master builder of Quality Robots, which made him seem sort of a recluse. Benny had a secret that no-one in the Company knew or could...

Afterlife

I always wondered throughout my life what it was like to experience the afterlife. When someone would pass away, I would go to the funeral, and as I walked pass the coffin I wondered is anybody in there? Or is it an empty shell that the soul has vacated. I thought to myself when you take that last breath and the light transfers to darkness do another light of a different kind suddenly come on? You hear some people speak of the light at the end of the tunnel.

Would you agree to a electricity bill that charged you a monthly fee for unlimited usage?

Would you agree to a flat tax?

Would you agree to a Marriage contract that expired after two years? where you had to renew if you both were satisfied with life together?

Would you vote yes to not having to pay School tax after your children are out of the system?

Do you think there ...

You Think you know me?

Posted on June 1, 2010 at 9:24 PM Comments comments (1)

You think you know me cause I’m your child

And you went through the labor and pain,

You think you know me cause I’m your child

Cause you gave me your looks and my name.

You think you know me cause I’m your girl

And I look like your sister May

You think you know me cause I’m your girl

And I understand how you’d feel that way.

You think you know me cause I’m your son

And I’m...
